The appointed agencies will support both leisure and business events marketing, driving destination awareness and the 15 million arrivals target by 2030. Bidders must attend a compulsory virtual briefing and submit online via the e-procurement portal by 23 october 2026 at 12:00. The most consequential consideration is that the panel is non-exclusive and project-based, so appointment does not guarantee work volume.
Compulsory briefing: 12 September 2026 at 14:00 (SA time) via Microsoft Teams (Meeting ID: 359 181 356 463 948, Passcode: Y3Sb3ym3). Attendance is mandatory.
Closing: 23 October 2026 at 12:00 (SA time). Late submissions are not accepted. Submit online only via https://e-procurement.southafrica.net – no physical or courier drop-offs.
Returnables: complete and sign the bid form (with CSD MAA number), SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 6.2 (if applicable), SBD 8, SBD 9, Authority to Sign/Board Resolution, and Annexure A (Resources Cost Template) exactly as provided – tampering may lead to disqualification.
Validity: proposals must remain valid for at least 5 months after the due date; prices must remain firm for the contract period.
Panel composition: up to five (5) highest-ranked bidders from Phase 3 will be appointed, provided they meet all administrative, mandatory and functionality thresholds and submit an acceptable price. If fewer than five qualify, all qualifying bidders are appointed.
Credentials: provide at least two (2) examples of exemplary consumer and trade campaign work, not older than two years, including client name, challenge and solution delivered.
Pricing: project-based fee model; include agency fees breakdown, mark-up policy, annual fee increase proposal, and full disclosure of commercial agreements. SA Tourism may verify third-party costs via its cost consultant or audit.
