Scope: Bio-hazardous waste collection and destruction for the Northern Cape Region, Vaal Gamagara. Quantity: 12 collections per year. Waste is generated in 140-litre boxes lined with red plastic, supplied by the service provider. Collection requests are made when required by the laboratory. Collection point: Northern Cape, Delportshoop (R370), Vaal Central Water WTW R370. The service provider must possess relevant licensing or permits for hazardous waste collection and destruction as per legislation and the NEMW Act. A hazardous waste destruction certificate must be issued after each collection. Transport fees must be included in the quotation, not as a stand-alone item. Prices must be firm and valid for at least 60 days from the date of the offer. A firm delivery period must be indicated.
