Bidders must submit their bids to the Department of Transport, Head Office, situated at iNkosi Mhlabunzima Maphumulo House, 172 Burger Street, Pietermaritzburg, 3201. Bids must be deposited in the bid box by the closing time. No bids sent through the post or courier will be considered if received after the closing time. Bids must be signed and submitted with a valid tax clearance certificate and be registered on the Central Supplier Database. Bidders must complete and sign the authority to sign a bid with proof of authority.

Bidders must submit a valid tax clearance certificate and be registered on the Central Supplier Database. B-BBEE status level verification certificate or sworn affidavit required for preference points. The 80/20 preference point system applies. Points will be awarded for price and specific goals.

Prices must include all applicable taxes. Payment terms are 30 days after receipt of an invoice accompanied by a delivery note.
