The bidder must submit a declaration disclosing employment by an organ of state, relationships with procuring institution employees, and interests in other enterprises. Returnable documents include the bidder's disclosure form. Failure to disclose all required information may lead to disqualification.

Bidders must not be listed on the Register for Tender Defaulters or List of Restricted Suppliers. They must disclose any employment by an organ of state, relationships with procuring institution employees, and interests in other enterprises. All CSD-registered active companies linked to directors must be disclosed.

Quotations will be evaluated utilising the 80/20 scoring system, where 80 points are allocated for price and 20 points are allocated for Specific Goals and Preferential Points.

Submissions must be emailed to [email protected]. Quotes should be on the company letterhead, indicating the VAT registration number - if VAT registered. Quotes should be detailed and specify the services and cost. All quoted prices should be valid (firm) for the duration of the order. Prices dependent on the exchange rate should factor in price escalations. Required documents include: Completed SBD forms (SBD 4 and SBD 6.1), E-filing copy of valid Tax Clearance certificate, Certified copy of ID document, Certified copy of company registration (CIPC), Certified copy of BBBEE certificate. Failure to complete the declaration of interest form may result in the disqualification of the quotation.

Bidders will be evaluated using the 80/20 scoring system, where 80 points are allocated for price and 20 points are allocated for Specific Goals and Preferential Points. Points will be awarded for attaining the Specific Goals in accordance with the table below: Race (Black) - 10 points, Women - 5 points, Disabled - 2 points, Youth (Below 35 years) - 3 points. Bidders must also meet the specific goals and preferential points criteria.

Quotations will be evaluated utilising the 80/20 scoring system, where 80 points are allocated for price and 20 points are allocated for Specific Goals and Preferential Points.

Stats SA will not provide upfront payment; however, payment will be made upon receipt of goods/services and within 30 days of receiving a valid invoice. The appointment of the service provider will not necessarily be based on the lowest received quotation.

Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), have a valid Tax Clearance certificate, and comply with the BBBEE requirements.
