Bids must be submitted on the original bid documentation issued by the municipality. Clearly mark the tender with the project name and reference number. Any unsigned alterations to the BOQ/Quotation/Pricing schedule will invalidate the submission. No late, incomplete, or facsimile bids will be accepted. The municipality may accept part or all of a bid. Returnable documents: completed original bid document, CIPC registration, certified ID copies of directors (not older than 3 months), proof of CSD registration, valid SARS tax PIN printout, fully completed and signed MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, and MBD9, municipal account as per CIPC, lease agreement as per CIPC, tribal lands proof of residence as per CIPC, and past three years' financial statements. For joint ventures, include valid tax PIN printouts for all partners and a signed agreement indicating the lead partner.

Failure to submit the following documents completed in full will render the bid non-responsive: completed original document issued by the municipality; CIPC registration documents; certified ID copies of directors (not older than 3 months); proof of CSD registration; valid tax PIN printout from SARS; fully completed and signed bid documents MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, and MBD9; municipal account as per CIPC, lease agreement as per CIPC, tribal lands proof of residence as per CIPC; past three years' financial statements. For joint ventures, valid tax PIN printouts of all partners and a signed agreement clearly indicating the lead partner must be submitted.

Bids must score a minimum of 70% on functionality evaluation to be considered for further evaluation. Bids will be evaluated on the 80/20 preferential points system: 80 points for price, 20 points for specific goals as per MBD 6.1.

Rental and maintenance of photocopiers for a period of three (3) years for Maquassi Hills Local Municipality. Bidders must be suitably qualified and accredited service providers.

Bids over R1 million will not be considered from bidders who have not registered for VAT or submitted proof of registration before the closing date. Past three years' financial statements must be submitted.

Bidders must be registered on CSD and CIPC, have a valid SARS tax PIN, and be VAT registered if the bid exceeds R1 million. Returnable documents: MBD1 (Invitation to Bid), MBD4 (Declaration of Interest), MBD6.1 (Preference Points Claim), MBD8 (Declaration of Bidder's Past SCM Practices), MBD9 (Certificate of Independent Bid Determination). Certified ID copies of directors (not older than 3 months) and proof of CSD registration are required. For joint ventures, valid tax PIN printouts for all partners and a signed agreement indicating the lead partner are required.
