Submission is by physical delivery only to the tender box at Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo Head Office, City Parks House, Ground Floor, 40 De Korte Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

Due to COVID-19 protocols, submissions are only accepted on 28-09-2026 (08:00–16:00), 29-09-2026 (08:00–16:00), and 30-09-2026 (08:00–12:00, before closing).

Bids must be submitted on the official JCPZ bid document. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, and late bids will not be accepted. Bidders are responsible for depositing the submission into the correct tender box.

Bid validity is 120 days from the closing date and may be extended if needed.

Evaluation is based on functionality, with mandatory administrative requirements. Bidders must pass the mandatory functionality and administrative requirements to be considered.

JCPZ may verify all information submitted; false or misrepresented information will lead to disqualification.

The contract is for a panel of service providers for horticulture, arboriculture, and conservation maintenance services.

Contract duration: 36 months.

• Valid Operating Regulations for High Voltage System (ORHVS) certification issued by a recognised and accredited institution. The certificate must be in the name of one owner or director of the bidding company, plus two additional ORHVS certificates in the names of employees of the bidding company. Proof of employment for the two employees is required (payslips, signed contract, and company organogram).

• Valid pest control operator certificate for industrial vegetation and noxious weeds, issued under the Fertilizers, Farm Feeds, Agricultural Remedies and Stock Remedies Act by the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD). The certificate must be in the name of the owner or an employee, with proof of employment (payslip, signed contract, and company organogram).

All certificates must be certified by a commissioner of oaths, and the certified copy must not be older than 3 months from the closing date.

To qualify for consideration, potential service providers MUST provide and ADHERE to the following Mandatory requirements (Failure to adhere to these

requirements will lead to elimination):
