Tender documents will be available from 30 July 2026 at 36 Lyell Street, Ladysmith. A compulsory non-refundable tender deposit of R500.00 is payable via cash at the Municipality’s Pay-Hall or EFT (First National Bank, Account: 62253072385, Branch Code: 220425). Reference: Company name and tender number. Previously paid deposits for this re-advertisement need not be paid again. Submit completed tenders in sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the tender number, to the Municipality’s tender box at 33 Forbes Street, Ladysmith, 3370, by 12:00 on 27 August 2026. Late submissions will not be considered. Submissions must use Municipality-supplied documentation. No fax or email submissions accepted. Check documents for completeness upon receipt and notify the employer of discrepancies. Failure to provide all required data or incorrect information may result in disqualification as non-responsive.

Tenders will be evaluated on functionality only. Preferential points system applies only when quotes are requested for work to be done. Eligible tenderers must: - Be registered on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) (www.csd.gov.za). - Be registered on the uThukela Municipality’s supplier database. - Not be in the service of the state, nor have any director, manager, principal shareholder, stakeholder, advisor, or consultant who is a state employee or contracted with the Municipality. Only natural persons or entities meeting these conditions may apply. Full completion and correctness of MBD 4 and all other required declarations are mandatory. The Municipality reserves the right to validate declarations via databases, including CSD. Incomplete or incorrect declarations will be deemed non-responsive.

Appointment of an accredited service provider for VIP protection services for a period of 36 months. Service providers must be accredited and capable of delivering VIP protection services as per the Municipality’s requirements.
