The contract will run for a period of 36 months, and bidders must be tax compliant, registered on the central supplier database, and meet specific prequalification criteria. The most consequential consideration is that only bidders who pass the mandatory gate 0 prequalification (returning all required documents and meeting all criteria) will proceed to the evaluation stages, and the award will be based on the 80/20 preference point system.
Closing date and time: 07 October 2026 at 16H00 (South African standard time).
Mandatory prequalification (Gate 0): Submit all documents listed in Table 1 and comply with all criteria in Table 2; failure results in disqualification.
Bidders must be tax compliant and remain so for the full contract term; tax matters must be in order with SARS or satisfactory arrangements made.
Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
Bidders must submit a separate comprehensive list of all costs for all possible charges, in addition to the Pricing Schedule.
Bidders must provide practicing certificates, CVs of attorneys/advocates who will perform the work, professional indemnity/insurance, and a list of similar legal matters handled in the last 36 months.
