Facilitation services for board risk workshop

The Supply Chain Management Unit will conduct administrative compliance of bid submissions. The contact details for the Supply Chain Department are not specified.

Bidders must submit their bids electronically via email to the Supply Chain Department. The bid must include a completed and signed Declaration of Interest (SBD 4), a SARS Pin with expiry date or CSD Supplier Number, and proof of Central Supplier Database registration. The bidder must also submit a Pricing Proposal / Costing Schedule and a high-level approach or methodology.

This bid will be evaluated in three stages: Stage 1 - Pre-Compliance (Administrative Compliance) Evaluation, Stage 2 - Quality Proposal Evaluation, and Stage 3 - Price and Specific Goals Evaluation. The evaluation criteria include the bidder's experience, qualifications, approach and methodology, and pricing.

The services of a suitably qualified and experienced facilitator are required to facilitate a high-impact risk management workshop for the Board. The facilitator must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in risk management and 5 years' experience in management or management consulting.

The bidder must demonstrate an understanding of TETA's business requirements and provide a high-level approach or methodology on how the risk workshop will be conducted.

The company must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the facilitation and/or provision of risk management services. The Project Leader (Facilitator) must have led and completed a minimum of three (3) risk workshop facilitations and have a minimum of five (5) years' experience working in management or within management consulting.

The cost must be inclusive of VAT and MUST be itemized for all the required services.

Bidders must be registered as a supplier with Treasury on www.csd.gov.za and must submit a SARS Pin with expiry date or CSD Supplier Number. Bidders must also submit a B-BBEE Certificate and a valid BBBEE Verification Certificate from SANAS Accredited Verification Agency.

Bidders must confirm their company registration with CIPC as TETA will not award any tender to any business that appears on the CIPC List of de-registered businesses.

The project will focus on identifying and assessing strategic risks facing the entity.

TETA reserves the right to accept the proposal wholly or in part.

To ensure the effectiveness of this session, the services of a suitably qualified and experienced facilitator are required for the purpose of:

• Facilitating a high-impact risk management workshop for the Board focusing on identifying, reviewing, validating and assessing key strategic risks and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure alignment of key strategic risks with organisational objectives and applicable legislation.
• Ensuring alignment of the risk management processes with DHET requirements, applicable legislation, and good corporate governance principles.
