SANAS relies on a wireless network to support daily operations, business
applications, and connectivity for employees and visitors. The current Wi-
Fi contract is due to expire soon, creating a need to procure a new service
providernto ensure continuity of this critical service. SANAS seeks to
BACKGROUND improve wireless coverage, performance, and reliability across all its
facilities by upgrading and expanding the existing Wi-Fi infrastructure. The
project aims to eliminate coverage gaps, enhance the user experience,
and provide a secure, scalable, and centrally managed wireless
environment that supports SANAS's current and future business needs.
The objective of this project is to appoint a qualified service provider to:
Upgrade and expand SANAS’s existing Wi-Fi infrastructure
Improve wireless coverage, performance, and reliability
Objectives
Provide secure and scalable connectivity for employees and visitors
Ensure centralized monitoring and efficient management of the Wi-Fi

The appointed Service Provider will be required to deliver the following

Ensure optimal placement for performance and coverage
4.3 Infrastructure Installation
Install and cable all required access points using CAT 6 Ethernet cabling
Ensure proper mounting and securing of all equipment
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
4.4 Performance and Capacity Requirements
The Wi-Fi solution must:
o 250 SANAS employee devices
o 50 visitor devices (guest network)
Provide high-performance wireless connectivity
Enable seamless mobility across SANAS offices
Ensure reliable and uninterrupted connectivity
4.5 Guest Wi-Fi Solution
Provide a secure and separate guest Wi-Fi network
Ensure adequate bandwidth allocation for guest users (minimum 50
concurrent users)
4.6 Monitoring and Management
Provide centralized monitoring and management capabilities
Enable real-time visibility of network performance and usage
Provide alerting and reporting functionality
4.7 Issue Resolution and Optimisation
Identify and resolve all existing network issues
