The bid evaluation process will be carried out in three phases: Phase 1 - Administrative Compliance Evaluation, Phase 2 - Mandatory Evaluation, and Phase 3 - Price and Specific Goals Evaluation. The evaluation criteria include completion of the RFQ document, tax compliance, company registration, and B-BBEE verification certificates.

The service provider must have sufficient equipment to operate within the forestry industry, including a minimum of three 6 x 4 or 6 x 6 rigid logger body trucks and three or more wheel loggers for loading. The equipment must conform to normal Certificate of Fitness (COF) and licence requirements.

The bidder must have sufficient experience and qualifications to provide the required services.
