Bidders must quote according to the latest PSIRA rates (Area 1 & 2) using Total Direct Cost; bids outside PSIRA rates will be disqualified.
Prices are to be quoted per guard grade and shift for each of the five contract years, with monthly per-person rates, monthly rates for all guards, annual amounts, overheads (monthly percentage and monthly amount), subtotals, 15% VAT and annual totals, plus a five-year pricing summary (subtotal excluding VAT, VAT 15%, grand total VAT inclusive).
Offer to be valid for 120 days from the closing date.
Price adjustments, where applicable, will be considered and approved by SANC in accordance with the applicable PSIRA rates.
Payment terms: payments shall be made within 30 days after submission of an invoice or claim by the supplier. Payment will be made in Rand.

Warranty: The supplier warrants that goods supplied are new, unused, of the most recent or current models, and free from defects. Warranty valid for 12 months after delivery and acceptance, or 18 months after shipment, whichever concludes earlier. If the supplier fails to remedy defects, the purchaser may take remedial action at the supplier's risk and expense.
Payment: Payments shall be made within 30 days after submission of an invoice or claim. Payment will be made in Rand.
Prices: Prices charged shall not vary from the quoted bid prices, except for price adjustments authorised by SANC.
Contract amendments: No variation or modification of the contract terms shall be made except by written amendment signed by the parties.
Assignment: The supplier shall not assign its obligations under the contract without the purchaser's prior written consent.
Subcontracts: The supplier shall notify the purchaser in writing of all subcontracts awarded under the contract.
Delays: The supplier shall notify the purchaser in writing of any conditions impeding timely delivery or performance. Delays may render the supplier liable to penalties unless an extension of time is agreed.
Termination for default: The purchaser may terminate the contract in whole or in part if the supplier fails to deliver goods or perform obligations, or engages in corrupt or fraudulent practices. The supplier may be restricted from doing business with the public sector for a period not exceeding 10 years. The supplier will be allowed 14 days to provide reasons why a restriction should not be imposed.
