Quotations must be emailed to [email protected] no later than the closing date and time. The quotation must include: completed pricing schedule, SBD 4 (Bidder's Disclosure), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form), banking details matching CSD records, and proof of HDI status if claiming preference points. Failure to submit banking details matching CSD may disqualify the quotation. Only firm prices will be accepted; non-firm prices will not be considered. The offer must be strictly to scope of work; deviations must be stated. The RFQ is subject to the National Treasury General Conditions of Contract of July 2010.

The applicable preference point system is the 80/20 system. Points are awarded for price (maximum 80) and specific goals (maximum 20). Specific goals: HDIs who had no franchise in elections before 1983 and 1993 Constitution (10 points), HDIs who is a Female (5 points), People with Disabilities (5 points). Bidders must submit proof of HDI via CSD to claim these points; failure to do so means no preference points are claimed. Bidders listed on the Register for Tender Defaulters or List of Restricted Suppliers will be disqualified.

Scope of work: Replace 12V 7.0 AH Fire Suppression batteries (quantity 2) and replace 12V9AH UPS batteries (quantity 40). Current server room infrastructure: FM200 extinguishing type, Sigma XT 3 Zone panel, Powerman 15 KVA Rack Mountable UPS. The work is for the Office of the Valuer-General's data center, which houses two server racks, a UPS, and a fire suppression system.

Service providers must carefully review and fully understand the specifications before submitting a quotation. Pricing should accurately reflect the specification and quality requirements. Under-pricing or unrealistically low quotations may compromise quality expectations and could result in rejection.

Pricing schedule must be completed with unit and total prices including VAT at 15%. Items: fire suppression batteries (quantity 2), UPS batteries (quantity 40), installation cost, delivery cost. Prices must be firm and VAT inclusive; if no indication, prices are taken as inclusive. Validity period options: 30, 60, 90, or 120 days. Banking details must correspond with CSD records. Under-pricing or unrealistically low quotations may be rejected.

Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide banking details matching CSD records. SBD 4 (Bidder's Disclosure) must be completed and signed, disclosing any state employment or relationships with the procuring institution. SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form) must be completed to claim specific goals points. Proof of HDI status via CSD is required to claim preference points. Bidders on the Register for Tender Defaulters or List of Restricted Suppliers are disqualified.

The work involves replacing batteries in a data center with a fire suppression system (FM200) and a UPS. Bidders must ensure the safety and reliability of the data center environment during the replacement. No specific OHS requirements are stated beyond ensuring optimal performance and safety.
