Functional requirements: a) Energy System Modelling — simulation of solar PV, battery energy storage, grid-connected and off-grid systems, hybrid configurations; load profile modelling and demand forecasting; energy dispatch optimisation. b) Optimisation & Scenario Analysis — least-cost system optimisation; sensitivity analysis; scenario modelling (fuel prices, tariffs, policy incentives, carbon pricing); risk and uncertainty analysis. c) Financial Modelling — life-cycle cost analysis; LCOE calculations; NPV and IRR; cash flow and tariff modelling; CAPEX/OPEX analysis. d) Planning Capability — short- and medium-term energy planning; project feasibility assessment. e) Data Management & Interoperability — import/export (Excel, CSV or equivalent); compatibility with standard data formats; report generation and export. f) Transparency & Documentation — documented calculation methodologies; comprehensive user manuals; clearly defined technical modelling assumptions. Installation and configuration: install and configure on Land Bank workstations or network; ensure compatibility with existing IT infrastructure; provide configuration aligned with Land Bank use cases; conduct system testing and validation. Training: basic user training; advanced modelling training; practical case-study demonstrations relevant to agricultural energy systems; minimum one (1) staff member trained; deliverables include training manuals, user guides, recorded sessions (where applicable), post-training competency support.
