Quotations must be submitted by email to [email protected] or hand-delivered to 68 Cape Road, Gqeberha, Att. Ms. Lutho Daweti, before the closing time. The following are mandatory and failure to comply results in immediate disqualification:

• Complete the MBTC RFQ special conditions forms and attach valid quotations on company letterhead.
• Complete and submit SBD 4 (Bidder's Disclosure) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim).
• Provide the CSD supplier number.
• Prices must be VAT inclusive, include delivery, and be valid for 90 days.
• Prices must be broken down.
• Quotations must be firm and delivery firm.

Evaluation uses the 80/20 preference point system: 80 points for price, 20 points for specific goals. Specific goals and points claimed are detailed in SBD 6.1, including ownership by youth, women, black people, people living with disabilities, and locality (Nelson Mandela Bay Metro, Eastern Cape, neighbouring provinces, other provinces, outside RSA). Bidders must indicate how they claim points for each specific goal; failure to submit proof means no preference points are claimed.

The scope of work is clearing overgrown vegetation and cleaning gutters at the rear of the Mandela Bay Theatre Complex building. The service provider must supply all labour, equipment, tools, access equipment, and transport. Tasks include:

• Clearing and cutting back all overgrown vegetation at the rear of the building.
• Removing weeds, shrubs, grass, branches, and other unwanted vegetation encroaching on the building and surrounding areas.
• Clearing and cleaning gutters at the rear, including removal of leaves, soil, vegetation, and debris.
• Ensuring gutters and drainage points are left clear and free-flowing.
• Collecting, loading, transporting, and disposing of all vegetation cuttings and debris at an approved disposal facility.
• Cleaning the work area thoroughly upon completion, leaving the site neat and free of debris.
• Complying with all applicable occupational health and safety requirements, including use of appropriate PPE and safe working practices.

Prices must be VAT inclusive and include delivery. No prepayment or upfront payment will be made by Mandela Bay Theatre Complex. Quotations must be valid for 90 days. Prices must be broken down.

CSD registration is compulsory. Bidders must complete and submit SBD 4 (Bidder's Disclosure) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim). Quotations must be on company letterhead.

The service provider must comply with all applicable occupational health and safety requirements, including the use of appropriate PPE and safe working practices.

All vegetation cuttings and debris must be collected, loaded, transported, and disposed of at an approved disposal facility. The work area must be cleaned thoroughly upon completion.

The contract will be awarded based on the 80/20 preference point system. Bidders must certify the accuracy of information in SBD 6.1. Fraudulent claims may lead to disqualification, recovery of costs, cancellation of contract, restriction from doing business with the state for up to 10 years, or criminal prosecution.
