Service provider must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) with updated information. Must disclose any state employment or conflicts of interest. Foreign suppliers must answer a tax residency questionnaire.

• Service Required: Provision of Basic First Aid Training Level 1 for the IASP (Invasive Alien Species Programme) for Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife.
• Training Objectives: Learners must demonstrate understanding of emergency scene management, elementary anatomy and physiology, assess emergencies, apply first aid to life-threatening situations, and treat common injuries.
• Course Delivery: Must combine classroom setting, practical sessions, and written assessment. Training must be conducted in both IsiZulu and English.
• Service Provider Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily signed attendance registers.
• Complete and provide SETA enrolment forms.
• Submit Portfolio of Evidence and ensure learners sign its submission register.
• Upload learners to the SETA ETQA database and provide proof.
• Facilitate, assess, moderate, and verify the learning programme.
• Provide learner guidance and support.
• Certify learners with Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Competence, and ETQA Statement of Results.
• Submit Learner Evaluation Report and Training Close-Out Report within 15 days.
• Provide training content as specified.
• Submit learner statements of results and laminated certificates (A4 Premium Paper) after training completion.

• Mandatory Accreditation: The service provider must be accredited and submit valid proof (e.g., National Certificate 74269 or unit standard 119567).
• Personnel: Provide three CVs of experienced training personnel with proof of valid registration as an assessor or moderator from an approved body.

• Mandatory Accreditation: The bidder must submit valid proof of accreditation for the course (e.g., National Certificate 74269 or unit standard 119567) from a relevant statutory/regulatory body.
• Personnel: Provide three (3) CVs of experienced training personnel, along with proof of valid registration as an assessor or moderator from an approved body.

• The successful bidder must appoint well-experienced assessors and moderators to ensure training compliance.

• Issue certificates: Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Competence, and ETQA Statement of Results.
• Submit Learner Evaluation Report and Training Close-Out Report within 15 days.
• Provide training content as specified.
• Submit learner statements of results and laminated certificates (A4 Premium Paper) after training.
• Conduct training in IsiZulu and English.

• Pricing Format: Quote an all-inclusive price per region (Ukahlamba Region: 88 participants, Coast Region: 27 participants, Zululand Region: 200 participants). The rate must cover all costs: course materials, travel, accommodation, and other associated expenses.
• Payment Terms: EKZNW will pay 70% upon delivery of training and confirmation of registration with CETA/SETA. The remaining 30% will be paid upon submission of the Statement of Results and certificates.
• Invoicing: Submit a second invoice for the 30% balance after providing certificates.
• All delivery costs must be included in the bid price.
• Prices must be quoted in South African Rand, inclusive of VAT.

• Central Supplier Database (CSD): Registration is mandatory. If not registered at bid closing, you will be disqualified. Submit your CSD number and ensure your details are correct and up-to-date.
• Tax Compliance: You must be tax compliant. Submit your Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN from SARS or your CSD number if no TCS PIN is available. For consortia/joint ventures, each party must submit separate TCS certificates/PINs/CSD numbers.
• B-BBEE: Submit a B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate or Sworn Affidavit (for EMEs & QSEs) to qualify for preference points.
• Entity Status: Declare your company type (e.g., Close Corporation, (Pty) Ltd, Sole Proprietor) and provide company registration number.
• Authority to Sign: Complete the authority to sign form, authorising a signatory to sign all bid and contract documents.
• Disclosure: Complete SBD 4 disclosure form regarding state employment, relationships, and other interests.
• No persons in the service of the state may bid.

• The training must cover first aid procedures for life-threatening situations and treatment of common injuries.
• Participants must learn to assess emergency situations and demonstrate understanding of emergency scene management and elementary anatomy/physiology.

• General Conditions of Contract (GCC) apply and form part of the contract.
• The successful bidder must sign a written contract form (SBD7).
• Contract includes standard clauses on delivery, warranties, payment, amendments, subcontracting, delays, penalties, termination, force majeure, dispute resolution, and applicable law.
• Performance security may be required within 30 days of award (bank guarantee or cashier's cheque).
• The purchaser may inspect records and audit performance.
• The contract is governed by South African law and written in English.

• The 80/20 preference point system applies.
• Points are awarded for price (80 points) and specific goals (20 points).
• Specific goals include B-BBEE ownership and geographical location (KwaZulu-Natal).
• Proof for specific goals must be submitted via CSD report.
