Scope: Supply, configuration, installation, and commissioning of intelligent, battery-operated GSM telemetry data loggers for Johannesburg Water's Smart City programme.

Key Requirements:

• The system must interface with existing field instruments using Modbus RTU via RS-485 and transmit data via GSM/4G.
• All raw data must be hosted on JW servers, with JW retaining full ownership and access.
• Must integrate with JW's existing Adroit version 10 SCADA system.
• Deployment across water infrastructure: PRV stations, reservoirs, flow meters, pressure points.

Technical Logger Specifications:

• Environmental: IP-67 rating minimum. Operating temperature: -20°C to +80°C.
• External I/O: Five configurable multi-purpose inputs/outputs (Analog, Digital, Counter, 4-20mA, switch, boost output).
• Internal Sensors: GPS (5m accuracy), 3-axis accelerometer with movement alarm, tamper detection.
• Communication: Modbus-RTU Master (must read multiple slave devices). Wi-Fi for local config, GSM-4G-LTE for backhaul.
• On-board Web Server for configuration via smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
• Remote Programming: Ability to change configuration and update firmware off-site.
• Edge Processing: Support for custom scripts for data manipulation, alarms, and control.
