Quotations must be submitted by email to [email protected] and must reach NMISA by Monday 24 August 2026 at 10:00. Quotations must be on the supplier's company letterhead and include the Central Supplier Database (CSD) summary with supplier registration number and unique supplier registration number, otherwise the quotation will not be accepted. Quotations must be firm and valid for at least 30 days and must clearly indicate the delivery period. All SBD forms must be completed; non-completion will be regarded as non-compliance. Returnable forms: SBD 4 (Bidder's Disclosure) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form).

Preference points are awarded for price and B-BBEE status level of contributor. The applicable preference point system is either 80/20 (for bids up to R50 million) or 90/10 (for bids above R50 million). Price points are calculated using the formula Ps = 80(1 - (Pt - Pmin)/Pmin) or Ps = 90(1 - (Pt - Pmin)/Pmin). B-BBEE points are awarded according to the status level table: Level 1 gets 20 points (80/20) or 10 points (90/10); Level 2 gets 18 or 9; Level 3 gets 14 or 6; Level 4 gets 12 or 5; Level 5 gets 8 or 4; Level 6 gets 6 or 3; Level 7 gets 4 or 2; Level 8 gets 2 or 1; Non-compliant gets 0. Total points for price and B-BBEE must not exceed 100. Bidders who do not submit proof of B-BBEE status will be deemed not to claim preference points.

Quotations must be firm and valid for at least 30 days. NMISA is a schedule 3A public entity under the PFMA and effects payment only when all goods and services are delivered in full. Pricing must be quoted excluding VAT, with 15% VAT added to arrive at the grand total including VAT. For pricing above R2,000.00, a B-BBEE certificate must be attached.

Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide the CSD summary with supplier registration number and unique supplier registration number. Bidders listed on the Register for Tender Defaulters or the List of Restricted Suppliers will be disqualified. SBD 4 (Bidder's Disclosure) must be completed and signed, disclosing any relationship with state employees or the procuring institution. SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form) must be completed to claim B-BBEE points. A B-BBEE certificate must be attached for pricing above R2,000.00.
