verify qualifications of current and prospective personnel, through an independent,
external service provider, as well as doing background screening that includes but is
not limited to confirmation of employment and criminal record checks.
The frequency or volume of verifications and screening cannot be determined in
advance, as it is dependent on the number of appointments processed every month,
as well as independent requests from Auditors or Forensic Investigators.
The service provider must be able to verify various types of qualifications as listed in
the table below:

this option, where a tenderer offers a price that is deemed not to be viable to supply goods
or services as required, written confirmation will be made with the tenderer

will be disqualified on the basis of being non-responsive. If they confirm that they can
deliver, a tight contract to mitigate the risk of non-performance will be entered into with the

POINTS AWARDED FOR SPECIFIC GOALS 4.1. In terms of Regulation 4(2); 5(2); 6(2) and 7(2) of the Preferential Procurement Regulations, preference points must be awarded for specific goals stated in the tender.
