Must have qualified personnel: 1 electrician with trade test (3+ years), 1 registered installation electrician with wireman's license (3+ years), 1 safety officer with SAMTRAC (3+ years). Must meet specific goals criteria for ownership and location.

Scope: Electrical maintenance and repairs of municipal buildings and facilities for a 12-month contract.

• Key personnel and experience requirements:
• Company must have experience in construction, maintenance, and repairs of electrical installations in buildings.
• Required team:
• 1 x Electrician with a Trade Test Certificate and 3 years experience in electrical engineering field.
• 1 x Registered Installation Electrician with a Wireman’s License (able to issue Certificates of Compliance) and 3 years experience.
• 1 x Safety Officer with SAMTRAC qualification and 3 years experience in electrical engineering or related field.
• Deliverables: Maintenance and repair services as per the contract.
• Standards: Compliance with relevant electrical engineering and safety standards.

Bidder must be reputable and experienced.

• Company experience: Number of completed projects in construction, maintenance, and repairs of electrical installations in buildings.
• Personnel qualifications:
• 1 x Electrician with Trade Test Certificate and 3 years experience.
• 1 x Registered Installation Electrician with Wireman’s License (can issue COCs) and 3 years experience.

Price validity period: 90 days.

• Financial compliance: Company must confirm municipal rates are not in arrears for more than 90 days.

• Rules:
• Bidders scoring below 30 points are eliminated.
• Must meet minimum points per segment; scoring less than 50% on any segment renders bid non-responsive.
• Must score 100% on expertise criteria.
• Overall scoring: 80/20 Preference Point System applies after functionality pass.
