The city of cape town requires the supply and delivery of bituminous products over a 36-month contract. Bidders may tender for supply only or for supply and delivery to depots in one or more of four regional categories (central, east, north, south). Two suppliers will be appointed per item, category, region and source of base bitumen, with orders placed on a winner-takes-all basis. Technical data sheets: Submit compliant manufacturer specifications for Sections 1, 2, 3, 8, 9 and 10, and compliant technical data sheets (including grading curves) for Sections 4, 5, 6 and 7. Complete Schedule F.13A in full. Missing documentation makes the item non-responsive.
Pricing: Rates must be bona fide, in Rand excluding VAT, and fixed for the contract period (subject to Schedule F.1). Nil or blank rates are deemed not tendered. The Schedule of Rates is available via Dropbox link.
Registrations: Must be registered on the National Treasury CSD and the CCT Supplier Database. Tax Compliance Status PIN must be submitted with the tender. Joint venture parties must each register and submit separate PINs.
Eligibility declarations: Complete and sign all returnable schedules (F.1–F.13B), including Declaration of Interest – State Employees, Conflict of Interest, Past SCM Practices, and Certificate of Independent Bid Determination. Non-compliance renders the tender non-responsive.
